Sprint planning

The new year started and so did work. We met our PO on the first week of school and got good goals before our next meeting. We were supposed to start laboratory work during the next weeks. First thing to do in laboratory work is to make sure everyone knows what to do and how to do it safely.

We split our group in two smaller groups to start working on various work guides for each laboratory analysis. The first group would be focused on preparing the samples provided by our PO. Each sample has to be prepared with each flocculant/coagulant combination to ensure the best results. The other team was in charge of analyzing the samples made by the other group.

As mentioned before, the first objective was to make proper instructions for the laboratory work itself. These instructions were our main objective in each group. Each member would have their own analysis to work with for starters. The group that were in charge of the samples had to had their instructions ready earlier than the other group. This was because the samples had to be prepared before their analysis.

Some of the instructions proved to be more challenging than others. The one I did in the first place turned out to be completely wrong, so I had to make a new one. All of our instructions are based on other proper instructions and/or standards, to make sure the analysis we perform is as good as possible. When the instructions are done and approved by our tutor, we can start the laboratory work itself.
