Welcome to our Turku University of Applied Sciences Capstone project webpage, an innovation project aimed at combining working life and studying in a more realistic way. Our team is entirely composed of Chemical Engineering students and our research goal is to find and test efficient bio-based flocculants and biodegradable polymers for our project owner BK-Hydrometa Oy. We will share here about the progress of this project and in a broad sense about our findings.
Many of our team members already have previous experience in water treatment, either at an industrial or pilot level. Above all, they all have experience in chemical and biochemical analysis.
